We are dedicated to delivering your office supplies, school stationery, and paper goods in a secure and timely manner. This Shipping Policy governs the shipment and delivery of any purchases made through our website.

1. Order Processing Time
All orders placed on our website are subject to a processing period before shipment.
- Standard Processing: Most standard orders are processed, packed, and dispatched within one to three (1-3) business days (excluding weekends and Irish public holidays) after payment confirmation.
- Bulk and Custom Orders: For large wholesale orders or customized stationery requests, processing may take between five to seven (5-7) business days. We will notify you via email if your order requires extended preparation time.
- Cut-Off Time: Orders placed after 2:00 PM GMT on Fridays, or during weekends and holidays, will begin processing on the next available business day.
Please note that an order confirmation email indicates that your purchase request has been received. It does not mean the package has been handed over to the courier. You will receive a separate shipping confirmation email once your package leaves our warehouse.
2. Shipping Destinations
We proudly ship our low-cost stationery products domestically and internationally:
- Domestic Shipping: We provide full coverage shipping to all counties across Ireland and Northern Ireland.
- International Shipping: We ship to the United Kingdom, mainland Europe, North America, and selected international regions.
- P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO: Please note that we do not ship to P.O. Boxes, military bases, or APO/FPO addresses due to courier restrictions. A physical residential or commercial address must be provided at checkout.
3. Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates
Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are calculated based on the total weight of your package, the selected shipping method, and the destination country. Accurate shipping rates will be displayed clearly at the checkout counter before you finalize your payment.
Domestic Shipping (Ireland & Northern Ireland)
- Standard Shipping: Estimated delivery within two to four (2-4) business days after dispatch.
- Express Shipping: Estimated delivery within one to two (1-2) business days after dispatch.
- Free Domestic Shipping: We offer free standard shipping on all domestic orders over a specific order value threshold, as advertised on our homepage.
International Shipping (UK, Europe & Rest of the World)
- UK & European Standard: Estimated delivery within five to nine (5-9) business days after dispatch.
- International Standard: Estimated delivery within ten to twenty (10-20) business days, depending heavily on the destination country’s customs procedures.
Disclaimer: Delivery timelines are estimates provided by our logistics partners and are not strictly guaranteed. External factors such as severe weather, customs inspections, postal strikes, or peak holiday seasons may cause unexpected transit delays.
4. Shipment Tracking
We believe transparency is key to a great shopping experience. Therefore, we provide comprehensive tracking information for all dispatched parcels.
Once your package is collected by our courier service from our facility at Irwin Court, Irwin Lane, Galway, Co. Galway, H91 N9C6, Ireland, an automated shipping confirmation email will be sent to your registered email address. This email will contain a unique tracking number and a direct hyperlink to the courier’s online tracking portal. Please allow up to twenty-four (24) hours for the tracking status to update and show active movements on the system.
5. Customs, Duties, and Taxes (International Orders)
For all international orders shipped outside the European Union (including the United Kingdom and North America), the recipient is recognized as the importer of record.
- Import Fees: Packages may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and local clearance fees levied by the destination country once the shipment arrives.
- Customer Responsibility: All additional fees required for customs clearance are the sole responsibility of the customer. Low Cost Stationery Limited has no control over these government charges and cannot predict what they may be.
- Refused Shipments: If you refuse an international shipment due to import duties or taxes, you remain responsible for the original shipping costs, any return shipping fees incurred, and customs clearance charges. These amounts will be deducted from your potential product refund upon the physical return of the goods to Galway.
6. Wrong Address and Delivery Failure
It is the sole responsibility of the buyer to ensure that the shipping address entered at checkout is entirely complete, accurate, and free of typos.
- Incorrect Address Details: We are not liable for packages that are delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If you notice an error in your address, you must contact us immediately at sunnyd@lowcoststationery.com before the package is dispatched. Once a tracking number is generated, address modifications are no longer possible.
- Unclaimed Packages: If a courier is unable to deliver a package due to recipient absence, lack of access, or failure to collect the package from a local postal depot, the package will eventually be returned to our facility. In such cases, the customer will be required to pay the standard shipping fee to have the package re-sent.
7. Missing, Lost, or Damaged Packages
We take exceptional care in packaging our stationery products securely. However, if your package arrives physically damaged or goes missing during transit, please contact us immediately to initiate a claim.
- Damaged in Transit: If your package is visibly damaged upon delivery, please take clear photographs of the outer box, inner packaging, and the damaged products. Send these details along with your order number to sunnyd@lowcoststationery.com within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery.
- Lost Shipments: If your tracking status shows no updates for an extended period, or if it states “Delivered” but you have not received the physical package, please check with neighbors or local postal offices first. If the package cannot be located, notify our customer support team. We will open an official investigation with the carrier service. Please note that tracking investigations may take up to seven (7) business days to conclude.
